My research power is 46%. I focussed it on braking, as I was most behind there (25 - 35 points, roughly). However, at the end of the race I only gained 5 points, instead of the ~15 points I should have gotten.

This happened on PC, and I have not reproduced it as no races have taken place since.

Hi Friso

The displayed research power is the "standard" percentage, in your case 46%. If you research your CD strength your research power is higher than 46%, if you research your CD weakness it is lower than 46% but the displayed value doesn't change.
Your CD weakness is Braking which is why you received fewer DP than you were expecting.

This is not a bug it is a feature of the game so I will close this thread as resolved.
