No Boost in race! Again

Seriously every race I loose my boost after the first pits. Please sort it out!

If this isn't sorted I'm leaving the game.

Hi Kevin sorry I was just a bit frustrated last night I have calmed down now and realise my life isn't actually going to end! 

I have reported it before but no one did anything so that's why I didn't supply much info.

So my problem is the boost button just stops working randomly at some point during the race and what ever I try doing nothing works. I have noticed that it happens at the same time as there is a delay in the group chat. So I'll post something normally like "My boost has stopped working again!" in the group chat and it takes about 15 seconds to actually enter the chat thread.

The boost button does react, as in changes colour as if being pressed, but there is no drop in percentage of boost left and no effect on the car. I can reset the race window, the game, logged out of Facebook, deleted my history, even restarted my laptop to see if that would work but that didn't work either.  

I was on Laptop so it's on PC obviously and so it was using the mouse pad on my laptop. I tried clicking the button instead of double tapping the pad but it made no difference.

I it seems to be happening every race so at the moment I have to use it all in one go in the first 10 laps or loose it which is not ideal for obvious reasons.

I am also a bit frustrated because I switched leagues at the beginning of the season for a more convenient race start and have only got 4 races left to get out of the relegation zone. I am sure I could have got some better results if I had boost available.

Reported to the developer team. I’ll keep the topic open to report updates on this problem/bug. 

Thanks Kevin, I will try the "S" and "K" shortcut keys in tonight's race. I am the only one who seems to have this problem.

Just be aware that to use the shortcut keys you MUST NOT have the chat window active. If you want to monitor in race chat press the "H" key, this opens the window but it is not active (you can't type anything).
I hope this helps you but I fear it won't if none of the other methods of activating KERS works.

Hi Drew, do you have another computer or laptop at home to see if the problem can be replicated?

On your laptop presenting the issue, which browser are you using, and have you tried using a different browser?

Ive had it once after pitstop, some months ago but i was already down to 2% (due to 2nd driver pulling 1st with kers in drs zone) so i couldnt really bother to complain about it.
On samsung tablet.
Its a while ago so no further details. Seems to have been a 1time thing tho, in my case.

I don't have another laptop. I am using Microsoft Edge but will try a different browser tonight.

Just an update (if anyone cares) on my boost problem, it turns out that if I use boost before the first pitstop I can't use it the rest of the race but if I leave it till after halfway through the race I am still able to use it. I would love to say it would make a difference but at the moment my pace is so crap that I still won't be the points. I like playing the game but I have ended up going to bed in a bad mood for months now. I have scratched around looking for clues and tried different strategies and still I am finishing way behind even my lame goals set by the supplier. If anyone has any clue as to why I have no pace please let me know. 

I have noticed that Internet Explorer (which we don't support) and Microsoft Edge (which honestly isn't much different than IE) don't mesh well with our game. The majority of our desktop player base is using Chrome or Firefox. Have you tried using on of these two browsers?

Yunus I have just started using Firefox, I'll see how it goes.

Yeah it seems to be working, I have used Firefox 3 races in a row and haven't had a problem...fingers crossed!

I hate to say it but my boost stopped working again this race, and I was using Firefox. It was at 83% and 64% I think. So I think I either have to use it all up at the beginning of the race or leave it on 100% till near the end of the race, because if I only use some of it it stops working. It's more than likely my laptop but any other suggestions would be welcome.
