I don't know about you guys - but have been struggling even to get SS warmed up in a few races recently even in 9 degrees.

Wondering how we will cope when full winter hits in many places and we have seasons where we can't warm up any tyres...

Agreed,
The latest tyre update has completely faded out the hards (and mediums imo) on 50% races throughout the season.
We can now choose between ss, s, or lose with m or h.
Ive had problems heating softs in 18°C on max push.

I wish I had that issue. Less than 3 laps in my SS are half up the red line on full push.

I moved this thread to bugs as it is a bug, tyres shouldn't be unable to heat up.
Atleast if everybody will have this issue, nobody will profite from it!

Even on the slower tracks? Like monaco?

We started the race on full push ss and upon entering the pits for refuelling for 2nd stint the tires were at half way blue.
It appeared we all suffered the same problem tho (according to liverace chat complaints)
Softs are impossible to heat there

No, Monaco is not an issue with ss, or any compound.
It may or it may not be related to driver stats and car's design pts. I'm not sure.

So ur saying my 20/20 driver has more trouble heating tyres because he is better than (your/a) 15/20 driver...
Thats just silly.

I have not had a problem warming up the Super Soft tyres in very cold temperatures, and we haven't yet seen anybody else mention it.

I'm moving this back to the Help & Support forum as this doesn't sound like a bug.

Raced at Monaco last night and with highest PL could not get heat into the SS hottest they got was as you were leaving the pit area after just putting on a new set. From there they slowly went colder till after 13 laps, when it was time to pit again they were two thirds into the blue. Every one had the same problem so it was fair to all.
This is the only track where this happens. All other tracks you can get heat into at least SS tires.

I think some managers may be running their tyres until they are very worn. I experienced the same as Jon, I could just about keep SS in the ideal temperature zone at Monaco. But as the tyres wear it becomes progressively more difficult to keep them warm, if you take them too far even at PL5 they will go into the blue.

Yes, wear and how deep the temperature is makes quite a difference. At 11-12°C the tyre temperature on supers already rose slightly above the middle of ideal zone at full push for me, starting slightly to drop towards the end of the stint, but I only raced them to 42% at the extreme as I find that wear nearly instantly hits harder than fuel in Monaco without any possibility to counter using push. The Softs however (2 compound rule) slowly dropped into the blue until about stabilising around 1/5th in.

Hi Yunus,

Is there any progress on tyres issue? I mean since many use only ss and s. M and H are not at all used. It's quite boring don't you think? Please look into it in the next update.
But honestly I do appreciate the work you and your team are putting in. No second thoughts in that. But ya please do consider my opinion as this is from my end too and also from my league's end.

Thanks
Tejas :-)

I'll try to bring it up with the developers and see where this is on their radar.

As for the other posts here discussing problems with keeping heat in tyres, notably at Monaco, the tyres may be needing some tweaks, but it will be up to the developers to decide how to address this in response to feedback.
