Welcome to the IGP: Formula Motorsport Racing League
We've had a fantastic Season 17 with thrills and spills up and down the field as teams old and new have battled hard to climb the standing and take home victory for their respective teams. Many rivalries surfaced and several came to a head both on and off the track. But that is all behind us now, and we more new faces especially in the Rookie Division it begs the question who will we be crowning Season 18s Championship Winners.
Will it be Lolita who is the current favourite after joining season 17 1/3rd of the way into it she and her team, Lacrimosa, swiftly climbed to finish 3rd in the standings and just 28 Points shy of stealing the second promotional slot from Luke Mintoff and his Malta Cavaliers Racing team.
Or perhaps Wong Hoong Liang and team Speed of Dreams, another strong competitor of season 17, starting strong but was just over shadowed by the other teams.
Another strong starting team was Team USA headed by L.A. Suzie, Cousin to the Elite Team owner Suzie Q: BMR Racing. Would L.A. Suzie gain an advantage from her cousins knowledge? Or will one of the new teams outshine the favourites?

One last team to look out for in Rookie is Noah Huffman's second team who have yet again changed their main sponsors and are now known as ING Benetton Renault GP Team. Will yet another name change finally promoted them to Pro?
Pro Division sees only the Relegated teams from Elice, BMW Racing and Poland Motorsport and the two promoted teams of Malta Cavaliers Racing and FAFF Racing joining them, but could they contest the teams of Tintex GP and Racing Club FCSB?
Tintex and FCSB were the two runners up in Season 17 and for many of the races took the fight to the Torpedos and Schwinesteiger creating many crowd roaring battles that literally shook the stands.
However with Torpedos and Schwinesteiger now promoted to Elite Division they now face the new rules of mandatory tire selection under a two tire compound ruling. Each Elite division team will have to to use a mandatory tire set by the management team then they are free to use any other compound, any team not abiding by these rules encounter the Penalty system.
