At the moment it is far too easy to end contracts early with minimal consequenses. All that happens is you might lose 100k and that individual party likes you a little less. Except when changing drivers early where signing fees are a factor.
If a team made a habit cancelling contracts early, eventually a general feeling of cynicism would be developed towards that team and it would make it more difficult for negotiations more difficult in the future.
On the other hand, if a team had built a reputation of honoring contracts then combined with success on the track, perhaps contract negotiations would be more smooth and lucrative.
Just a few thoughts I've had. I wonder if anyone agrees.

Yes, this has been discussed before.
It may well be something that is introduced into the way the game is run at a later date.
I like the idea as it is more 'life-like'.

Yup I'm writing up a propositon for Jack on the Sponsoring system, that has penalties that are more severe to the early cuts.
In this system, you get a signing bonus, Per race payment and goals achieved payment per contract. Cutting early will result in alot of money lost and very bad financial reputation for your team which will weaken your chances of making new contracts.

I do feel like being responsible is not as rewarding as it should be. I am happy this is being addressed and I look forward to more improvements in the future. Cheers guys.
