Try clearing you cache and see how you go mate!! Thats the game gurus on here suggestion for everything. I clear mine daily now so it seems to run fine.

This happened again on todays race. Cleared the cache already but still no difference. However both races were at Japan so it cant be a coincidence

Were you using KERS in the corners?

Hi there
Same problem for me. KERS boost did nothing to one of my cars at some point during the race, and then it got stuck at 1%

😔😔

Were you using KERS in the corners?

I was using it on both straights and corners but straights mostly.

KERS works better on straights

Unless you are already at top speed (350kph), then the extra boost will do nothing at all :)

Hi guys, when using KERS, as Gert says, if the car is already at it's maximum speed of 350kph, you won't see any benefit.

I need more information about how you are using KERS, as the length of a straight is different and in corners, KERS doesn't re-deploy until a car finishes braking and gets back on the throttle.

If you are using KERS, which tracks are you on and where are you using it? Exiting a corner into a straight? When using DRS on a straight? etc.

When you notice the issue, are you using mobile data, or wi-fi?

I use KERS mostly when accelerating onto a straight and in drs zones. I've only noticed this bug at Japan however. I am always on wifi and admittedly it goes down sometimes but normally the cars go slow or stop if my wifi is bad but it didn't do that at Japan.

Okay, those are good details to know. I'll try to keep an eye out for this. At this time, I've marked this as 'unreproducible' since more information will be needed, including from other players who've posted in here about the problem.

Does using kers help while having drs? Idk if it does

You'll get to top speed faster, but once you are hitting the rev limiter there is no benefit, and I think all while KERS continues to get drained.

In your opinion Yunus, or maybe your knowledge, is there any benefit to having the push level at max while you boost or would the lap be quicker keeping the tire temp in the neutral zone?

Neither scenario is relevant to how much KERS gets used, and if it is, must be totally insignificant. I don't think that's the answer you're looking for...if so, sorry!

I've heard that some of you are trying to use KERS while on DRS Zone. The greater your DRS/KERS levels are, easier it is to reach 350 km/h which is the game top speed (Gert and Yunus said this already).
So, I don't recommend doing this on DRS straight if your DRS is activated.
