This has to be at least the third time this has happened. I've had my driver come in for an unschedled stop and on the in-lap, I've changed the fuel count from say 33 to 53. So when my driver pits, I expect to see his fuel load increase to 53.
Nope, didn't happen, once again the game fails like it loves to do.
The game must've decided, "Ergh, they put in 33L last stop, they must want it again even though they say they need 53L".
Getting really sick of this, this has happened at least twice this season alone.
Nice way of looking after your community with not fixing this rubbish.
If you manually edit the quantity in the unscheduled stop you have to either a) Highlight the PIT button yourself before it comes on, or b) Unselect it and then reselect it if it had already come on by itself.
If you just edit the quantity and let the PIT button come on by itself it will keep the original value. You have to make sure you're the one selecting PIT. I know it's stupid and hopefully reversed in the next update, but that's how it is for now. Hope this helps any way.
There were some problems in beta with this aspect of the game. The way it works now was actually the best compromise. Since the game has gone l live it seems to not be working as it should. I think this is to be improved in the future.
This wouldn't be a problem if the pit box in both before the race and during the race allowed for more than 5 stints, because then people would barely use the unscheduled stop section any way. Surely this can't be too hard to implement? There should be more than 5 stints any way - the most common setup for 100% races is 6 stints / 5 stops any way.
