Rerun crap races affected by software

Here's a suggestion.

When your software locks up and the race results are total crap because no one can access the 2D, have the opportunity to re-run the race.

That just destroyed the whole season in one night, and iGP say "Results Stand" ???

If that is the standard you guys operate by, then sorry, not good enough for my dollar.

Not paying for this crap anymore. Goodbye.

I would hate to have seen your face or weathered your vitriol if iGP had added realistic elements like breakdowns, wrecks, and so forth to the game.

I agree with Travis, when a championship can take 2 months and many many hours of attention to complete it is totally unacceptable for the admins to be so dismissive of a failure of their system. There is no question they can revert the database back to before the failure (and have done so in the past), but this time round they simply cant be bothered. Its great that iGP are busy 'developing partnerships', but to completely neglect the paying customer in the meantime is going to cost them in the long run. I hope the 'partners' do their due diligence and see how immature the iGP system really is.

Its not a case of they cant be bothered its a case off they cant the system from my understanding cant re-run races that have already happened. As below from a post by a mod in another post

There have been occasions in the past when they have re-run races so I know it can be done, I think they are just too busy to want to do it.

I have not seen proof of races that have finished and for them to be re run. If the races are running and stopped then yes they are able to be reschduled

Our league has only been told we can restart runs, not re-run when it has been completed.

I'll just confirm here:  It is only races that have actually completed that we can not fix.  If we can get to a race before it ends we can rerun it, reschedule it or just let it continue.  So this recent issue could have been largely avoided simply if we had a more effective alert system in place (we are currently working on this).  I have just explained here in more detail why we can't undo results from disrupted races: https://igpmanager.com/play/?url=forum-thread/1887#12285
