Can you carry over engines when you get a resuly or does it go to 10 automatically?

When your engines are replenished or topped up they usually go to 20 for 2 driver team and 10 for 1 driver teams. Doesn't matter if you have separately purchased additional engines, it will only top up back to 10 for 1 team and 20 for 2 team every 20 races.
