This is the second time that it happened. It happened yesterday too. Didn't impact my race results though, as I was able to reload by pressing F5.

I have the same issue. I've been testing for the last few weeks to see why it's happening. Tonight I found a temporary fix but it's not the best. To prevent it from crashing go into settings in the race viewer and for "Car Display" change it to "Car only".

Frankly "Car Only" is much less practical in my opinion comapred to "Icon only" so it may actually be better to stick with Icon Only anyway.

But yeah, the devs need to do somthing about "Icon only". It's pretty much the view that game was made to be played with and yet it's crashing some peoples games.

Interesting! I think you may be correct; I recently changed the quality of the race viewer down to "very low", and the error has only happened after I changed the quality, so I'll definitely try that.

Weird! If that helps, that'll be one of the strangest bugs I document in a while...I'd expect setting it to high quality would produce an error.

Yeah. I thought I'd stopped crashing because I changed the car display but in doing so I changed the quality from very low to medium. Tonight I tried it on Icon only and medium quality and didn't crash so that definitely seems to be it

It happened the same to me. I've changed to very high and now it seems ok.

I can confirm that changing the quality settings from very low to very high solved my problem.

Let me add that it happening to me too.  Both on Chrome on Windows 10, and Chrome on Ubuntu 18.04.  It will "pause" for a few minutes when it reaches over half way into the race.  Sometimes it comes back, other times the race ends before.

I'll try changing the quality settings too...
