Could we make it a level competition aswell?
So instead of moving the first 2 up 1 and last 2 back 1 can we put it in levels so, lvl 1-8 rookie etc.?
I just dont like that I was pro with level 12 or so drivers and now im stuck in the rookie and wont get my design up to soon.
Handicap for the first x and boost (i guess) for the last x.

I guess these are issues that have come about through the game actually being played for a lenght of time.
I think this was something that might have been considered during Beta but couldn't be assessed.

I understand what you are saying and sort of agree with the idea.  I do think it needs a lot of thought and hopefully a lot more people will post their ideas.
I am not in any league atm, but will soon be following your example Lachlan, so will know first hand what you are experiencing.

At level 12, and in Pro you are underperforming, I was a level 9 when I joined my Elite Series and I beat the Ranked 1st manager in the very first race, winning that race.

Your level, drivers level does not put you into the position of being unable to win races or the season, your strategy and ingame management helps greatly.

I am probably wrong but what I think Lachlan meant was that now he is back in Rookie he cannot do anything with his cars until he is back into a tier with the same level of cars.  It is an aspect of the game that has not been explored before.  The development etc is capped so the game can become rather boring.

Even if this is not what he meant it is still an interesting new area for discussion.
The sooner i get back down to rookie to find out what is going on the better!

^ it says my training gets capped aswel so it doesnt become unfair. Though my driver isnt as high as others.
David im stuck at lvl 8 with a 4% car. Wont win against 70+
İ really dont think the game is looking at these small things, however İ accept that because
1 its the first year
2 theres 2 developers
İ just want these little things to be fixed before new elements are introduced. İn other words Fine Tuning.

I wanted 2, have lvl 8 and 3 for financial reasons. Anyway drivers level up.

Financially, I am refitting 5-8 out of 9 components each race, I have two drivers that are eating over £2mil each, ontop of that, I got my other expenses.
My usual net profit? +£2.7mil
My last race's profit: +£3,688,800

Sorry, but I think this is just a case of incompetent manager.

Also in my first season as a level 3, I beat level 8 teams. Its not down to drivers and car, your strategy and understanding helps progress in the game.

Yeah that is true tbf.

I remember when my shit drivers were beating yours because you didn't know what colour your tyres should be at in the race. Bless.
