The Current Lap Records under circuit data, seem unrealistic.   I’ve just looked at the GB one and the Quali Record is almost 4 seconds quicker than Pole set by a Lev 20 Manager in a recent race in my league.

Most of the tracks show very old records - probably when the game was in a previous version...?

Time to reset the records????

Please.  :)

Why?    They cannot be beaten.   Completely irrelevant and pointless them being there.

Leave the records as they are, but give us faster tyres (or car) so we can at least challenge them :-)

That’s my point Peter - unless they are relevant there is no point having them.   If the current game set up means they are unachievable, and I can’t see them changing car and tyre speed - surely a quick reset of the records makes sense?

It is possible to beat lap records. I set a new lap record for British iGP on Oct. 28, 2018, in which I switched to SS for the final 2 laps and spent all my kers on the final lap. I have also tried to get the lap record at the Turkish iGP, but I was 0.5s off there; and I've tried at Australia iGP, and was 2.0 seconds off there.

It is possible to challenge lap records if you have maxed out at 100 design points on acceleration, braking, downforce, and handling (which I did for the British iGP attempt). However, at the moment there is no way of beating the qualifying lap records.

Edit: Also, someone else set a new lap record at the Belgium iGP on Nov. 20, 2018.

Those old records made with other car balance (Acc, Bra, Down, Hand impact lowered after)
and they made during races with out any effort.
that's why there is a huge gap on quali.

Adding that 100% distance race has advantage as the track is better at the end.
I think this should balance for all distances.
