So a few weeks ago I saw a discussion about tire temperature in Monaco how it was very hard to warm them up and I think I found the cause for this.
So from my observations the whole mechanic is broken as it seems that the temperature rises on the straights and goes down in corners which is exactly opposite to real life. The rubber flexes in the corners which results in the higher temperature and then in the straights they cool down from the air.
Perhaps I am wrong but the temperature arrow goes to red as the car accelerates and when it turns it goes down and from my knowledge it should be the other way round.

In this game, the temperature generated seems to be directly proportional to the velocity of the car (as if it's calculated by a simple ΔT=kv formula, where k is a constant), which is indeed unlike real life. I'm interested to hear from the developers whether they consider it important to emulate how tyre heat is generated in real life.

Talk about opening a can worms!
The same fundamental argument can be used for a lot of other aspects in the game where the mechanics don't emulate reality.
We can start with the car's design area.... we all know this game depends on mostly 4 design areas, making the other ones a bit pointless.
I'll be extremely surprised if this even gets a consideration.
