Is it possible to implement a system where you can view both cars tyres at the same time, and kers both at the same time? (eg some kind of bind system where A is car 1 and z is car 2?)

Not even sure if it's possible, just a suggestion. Heard many people wanting this type of thing but never seen it put up here in the forums.

I don't want to speak for the devs but I imagine that seeing all the stats of both drivers would be something that would be implimented in the long run, if it was seen to be an improvement.  Not having 2D I actually thought that was possible now - but obviously not.

Nah you have to constantly click between your drivers, but I hate doing this because at the moment my 2D sometimes jams when I click on different drivers, and I have to quickly reload it. I imagine this will be fixed in the long run but I know quite a few people have this problem at times.

I am completely against this. The reasons why are simple.

It makes players take their hands of their mice in the game.
It makes players not have to be actively concerned between two cars.

This game needs to maintain a certain difficulty where not everything is done for them.

I could agree David if 2D didn't ever jam when you flick between drivers. I'm not sure if you've had this before but it's a pretty common bug and annoying as hell at times. Pretty impossible to report too because the java console reports no errors for me when it happens.

I still think being able u use kers on both cars at same time is important, like when both are stuck behind slower cars and wanna use it down straight with Drs at same time to make sure of pass but both are on that same straight, u have to pick 1 and screw the other 1 for at least another lap or one driver needing to defend with kers and 1 to overtake at same time & u have to just pick one. For another example stuck in a chain of cars with both your own guys and have to pick 1 down straight and everybody else blows by the guy u couldnt use kers with while all those others on kers.

Team Radio = sorry u cant use kers now to keep position, my other driver is using it......

I noticed you said click. Something which makes it a lot easier is familiarising the hotkeys.

The arrow keys control which car you are viewing, so it's up and down to scroll through the order, left and right arrow select your two drivers. Keeping your fingers over those arrows makes it very easy to check quickly. :)

Some other hotkeys you may like: 'T' to talk, 'H' to toggle chat history on screen, 'tab' to show/hide live timing, 'F1-F8' for widgets.

Thanks Jack - I completely forgot about my keyboard!!

There is always a simple solution when you look for it (or in my case remember!)

The only controls I want really to be added are the seperation of Tire/Driver Health Controls and Fuel/Engine Controls.

And for 2D to be available for Free subs except for Subscribers to have actual values for Temperatures and 2 Decimal points in fuel.

Temperatures for Tires should measure in Celsius and in the format of ##.##, same for fuel.

Livery and the certain league options remains benefits for Subscribers.

I can understand why 2d viewers have an edge over non-2d users but please don't go so far as to putting the wrong tyres on our cars for no reason. I was 1-3 at Suzuka after a dry qualifying and as the race started it was raining. I decided to pit the driver in the lead to fit full wets, and leave my p3 driver out. Instead, they both enter the pits, somehow come out in a very dominant 1-2 after what im guessing was a pitlane lottery. All of a sudden for the next half a dozen laps atleast, I am 3 or 4 seconds PER SECTOR off the pace of the guy behind me, who, it goes without saying, takes the lead easily and runs off. My other driver i'm told was on dark blue tyres the whole stint despite being on push hard.

So despite selecting full wets for both drivers, not only did one pit when I didn't ask him to, but the game decided to split the tyre strategies by putting them both on the worst tyre possible. Thanks a lot. I'm guessing i'll be told that its down to my advanced strategy that I "saved" pre-race, but even that feature is bullshit. I'm allowed to change my strategy in the race easily, so why can't I change my wet weather precautions? Not only is it a disavantage being a non suscriber but there is also a massive lack of information available to me that is essential? I don't even know what tyre i'm on FFS. Sorry but this game isn't new anymore, these flaws should have been sorted a long time ago now.

It wouldn't matter Rufus - They can't use that argument against you. Even if you set up your advanced strategy with "After 0 laps pit for FULL wets" your driver still fits the wrong tyres. There is just absolutely NO way around it for free users at the moment.

I don't know what you use but this happens to me. If I try manually pit them for wets they always fit softs, but even if I just let them do it themselves and follow their advanced strat, they still do it wrong. I've had to pit my drivers up to four times before to get them to fit the right tyres which is a bit ridiculous.

First race of this season for me (last week some time) my driver did this. It starts raining end of lap 10, driver pits lap 11 as he should (After 0 laps pit for full wets) and refits soft.

I've seen other free users complain about this and I've always tagged along - What is the sense in the advanced strategy for free users if your drivers do not even follow it?

I still won the race though so I'm not complaining in a sore loser fashion as such, but it is a little silly and I think you get where I'm coming from.

Good to see its not just me then.

There is no excuse for the game (when I have manually selected full wets for both drivers) for one to put on HARDS, and the other to fit inters. If the pre-race strategy was to be followed then they will be BOTH be on the same wrong tyre.

The problem with the wrong compound being put on the car has been fixed in development.  We are just arranging the upgrade to put that fix live (among others).  Please excuse the time this is taking.

Fire your Technical Director :)

However I did see that and alot of us has suffered the same issue. But Rufus, as I said during that race (which I won :P), is that these issues are fixed in Q2.

Sort this shit out NOW. You're not stealing (cause thats effectively what it is. I never ticked an automatic subscription renewal button) any more money from me until you pull your finger out.

What has all that to do with this thread??

Put your vitriol in a PM to those that it concerns, not on a public forum.

Ask Rufus.

There isn't a suitable forum for this sort of repetitive bollocks.
