Car stats halved

Just finished our second season in my league ! And all my car stats have basically halved and also I didn’t get any car design points after the last race ! 
Is this a issue ? 
It didn’t happen after the first season ! 
Also my research also shows that I’m way behind other cars in my league but I was the most developed car in the league at the end of the season ? 
Any help would be great full 

This is normal which happens after each season finishes all teams car design points are reset and all teams have to build up car design points again, the reason behind this is so it's a fair and also competitive for all teams. The next season car design points are influenced heavily by the Chief Designer of the team, higher the level and depending on strength and weakness of the Chief Designer the Design Points will be allocated.

If that’s the case why is it only mine that has been effected everyone else in my league have said they are in effected including my wife who is in my league ?

Not possible David maybe they didn't pay enough attention to their design points properly. But each season every teams design points are reset as I said in my first response. Oh and in each season in the last race you don't get the research points either. 

As i just love to disagree..... i will. 
After the last race you do get design points, but u have only like a couple of minutes to spend them. If u are too late they disappear.
After that the program runs as it should and car design is reset for the next season, but those last few points can have a big impact on next season if u are not quick enough to spend them.

I always get my last couple of points in after the last race of the season.

So my question to david, when did u try to add the development points? If u waited too long... im guessing u still got them but u werent in time (5min tops) and at the end of the season all unspent points are forfeited.

Bo for the last race no one should be receiving any research design points from spying. Unless you are talking about unused design points which were not used until the last race and are applied after last race finishes. Either way once the last race is finished and season ends no matter what your car design points were this doesn't affect new seasons design points but your Chief Designer's strength and weakness gives your car design points. 

I think Bo you have mixed up design points and research design points because I have been racing for a very long time and never received research design points for the last race. 

Im not mixing anything up, and i believe me and david are talking about the exact same thing. I never said it was from spying. After the last race of the season u get car design points which u can allocate as long as u catch it in time. But its a nice attempt at a save ms. Not fooling me tho.

My question to david stands,
For i do think he did get the design points, but he was just too slow to allocate them.

Bo re-read what David had written in 3rd and 4th line in original post. It's asking that he didn't recieve design points for last race. This clearly means he is talking about research design points which your Technical Director sends you a mail and say we got this many points on the area you were researching. And like I said above for the last race you don't get this research design points. If you still think I'm wrong then go check your mail in game and check for your Technical Directors mail where he sends one after each race stating how many points he researched for you and check if you get one for the last race. I have already done this and can confirm 100% You don't get research design points for last race. 

David says and I quote " I didn't get any car design points after the last race" Bo how do you get design points? From the research the Technical Director does. Which is also known as spying and the TD doesn't do research at the last race so no DP are rewarded. 

I get development points in 2 ways, by spying from the staff, and from the development points building! Both development points work towards the same goal even tho u call it different....  So i persist in u being the one misinterpeting!
I know it is hard to admit when one is wrong... but trying to twist it so that i seem wrong doesnt make me wrong.

But lets await davids reply on the subject... because we all know there are no development points added from spying after the last race.. 
but i do know there are development points to be spent after the end of the last race, as long as u are quick enough.
So the only possibility can be the latter.

He even said in the second reply his wife in the same league DID get those points.... sooo.. it cant be dp from spying, because noone gets those.
