Not a major issue but i was wondering if an admin could take a look at our last league race (Singapore) and ascertain as to why the designated stop failed to take place. My #1 driver by-passed the pit entrance with not enough fuel to finish the lap (would be about 97% of the lap worth of fuel) and stopped, out of fuel, on lap 17 limping into the pit lane where i was fairly sure the strategy called for him to stop on lap 16. #2 driver followed the set strategy to stop on lap 15.
(only the first stint as that was already set prior to the race)
Thanks.

And add into that this race just gone at Brazil. Set last stint up for 22laps of fuel and as the car goes into the pitbox it changes to 21.7. So needless to say, ran out of fuel.

Are you changing your PL the lap before you pit? I find when I do that it will change the amount of fuel you put in the car.. it is why every time I go into the pits I watch the fuel level. Most of the time it changes before your car stops in the pit bay so you have a second or two to re adjusted it to where you want it to be.
As to your OP your PL you use will effect your fuel for each run. It why I check my fuel level a lap or two before I am due to pit to see if it is still good if not I adjust my PL or even force the car in a lap earlier than the AI thinks I need to pit. Also if you know your due to pit that lap and by over half a lap in your pit light is not flashing then go check why? and this still gives you the time to force the pit stop. Don't just leave it up to the AI to do it. I guess it called managing your race :)

The thing about fuel is:
You don't set laps in strategy but litres of fuel, the laps displayed are merely a prediction. Before the race it's based on your practice laps (thus push level 3/neutral) plus a nice bit of reserve. During the race it's a prediction based on your current fuel consumption and depends heavily on the set push level and race situation during the last lap. Also the automatic pit calls the cars in based on their remaining amount of fuel.
That means two things:
1) As long as those laps are not accidentally representing the average lap of the stint in question the actual fuel consumption can vary, especially if higher push level is used it can change quite a bit.
2) As many manager that calculated fuel quite aggressively or right to the point, so basically getting it (nearly) perfect, were complaining about their cars pitting one lap too early even though there was enough fuel left to (barely) complete another lap the automatic pit stops were changed from using one lap of fuel plus a bit of reserve to slightly less fuel is still OK, or in other words from having to do an extra pit stop for the last lap (or having to extent a following stint if there's still at least one stop more scheduled) towards loosing, sometimes quite some, time with coasting back to pits if the car is fueled slightly too little or too much.

The last stint low fuel and then pitting last lap issue i know of and in respect to my first issue it was a the first stop. The issue is that 1 car came in on it's designated lap, the other didn't. When i'm online managing i don't want the AI to alter the strategy, Brad, so that i can in-fact 'manage them', and the first thing of this is setting a designated lap for their first stop. Obviously if there is not enough fuel to make the designated stop then it can flash to pit, but i can still override this. It makes no sense for one car to follow the strategy, and the other to ignore it.
