Alright, I know my suggestion is a bit of a long shot and very hard work, but when it could be made in the near future (2012) it would be just amazing for us, managers.
Currently we have no real data to work on from the test laps/qualification lap.
The game Live for Speed has an epic web based hotlap analyzer, which gives you all kind of information (look at the picture here: http://puu.sh/aQ6X)
How it would benefit managers? Well, the data feedback would be actually close to what you get from real life, and one can easily work on that to get the ideal setup for the car. The current drivers \"feels good\" feedback just doesn\'t cut it. I actually just had a race in China where few of us had the near perfect feedback from the driver, but in the race we fell so behind that it was impossible to recover from.
Could it be done? Yes, I believe so, already the iGP 2D shows how much throttle is applied in each corner etc, it wouldn\'t be too hard to take the data and throw it together in a nice java/flash application.
I want to see it myself, I think you just made that picture up. Sure, http://www.lfsworld.net/rafa/ <-- Follow that link and you should be able to.
Pricing? Subs already have 2D etc Subs do have 2D, but as a sub myself I have formed an opinion that paying 5£+ each month for just 2D and live strategy is just not worth it really (I might just keep paying as it gives an noticable edge), the content for that price point is too low at the moment. If it is believed that the current content is justified for subs, the lap analyzer could be a one time payment item.
Thank you for reading my suggestion, if you notice any spelling mistakes let me know, it\'s morning and I\'m still drinking my lovely cup of coffee.
