I dont have any

our league uses 2 tyre compounds every race, if they break the rule either by accident or on purpose, they must do no setup in the next race

But how can you see that he or she , have no setup for the next race ??

we can't but they start on mediums and finish out of the points every time as our league is competitive.

I use x2 tyre compounds lik F1, have noticed that you can just run the one compound, this feels like a bit of a bug is there a way of tweaking it? Pondering over the strategies is part of the fun 😊

I hope they will set a tire rule , so you need use 2 compounds for the race . Like the real f1 

The game is already boring, forcing ppl to run 2 tyre compounds in each race means its ss then soft every race.

We need limited tyre numbers each season so your forced to run all compounds then its upto players when they use them.

Yea agree must use at least 2 tyre compounds per race! This would be much better

Do you mean tires would become a similar mechanism as parts and engines? You have a limited amount and forces managers to be more strategically involved.  If so, then that would add an extremely unpredictable race outcome almost every time.... taking the boring out of the current setup system.





A good initiative Samuel, unfortunately at some point yet again we'd end up where we are right now. We need something with a lot more unpredictability to keep us on our toes.

So far this season the two races we have had were won by teams using two different tyres so why do we need tyre rules? So why not try it as you can beat the Soft Soft Soft Soft cars. Strategy wins these races not tyres!! And the other reason they wont do it is because the leagues that run 50% races the Medium tyre is faster a lot of the time. The who tyre thing was changed not that long ago so why keep changing it? We have found our driver also like the longer runs with a short burst at the end. Try it gusy you may out strategize the others!

@Graeme; I agree.... some leagues' setups are far more challenging to setup and strategize for than others. 
Things were getting to monotonous at my previous league, so I went to a 1-car league. Imo, overall it's a much easier arrangement to manage than a 2-car league. 

It almost sounds like some setups chosen by the host at the time he/she creates the league should have labels like "Novice", "Easy" "Normal" and "Challenging" per say. 

Memo i think its the managers and their activity that play a big role in the strategy. Guess I'm lucky with the league that i run also that most of the guys attend races.

In a lot of my races last season I just ran straight softs and comfortable won championship so idk I think forcing at least two tyres will mix things up

The fact you're having an easy time winning is probably more directly related to how competitive your league is than what tire compound you use.

As in-house rule managers can apply any rules they all agree to. Maybe don't allow the same compound to be used twice during the same race. That ought to spikes things up a little....I think. 

 

No I don’t like that idea I think using at least two compounds would be fine and create something else to think about
