My highest 'bidding war' was like, round 4? lol

Especially because I'm only level 7 atm, I refuse to compete with someone for a driver or staff.

I mostly buy my drivers and staff, so round 1

A fellow manager in one of my leagues once said that he witnessed a 120-round auction. The highest one I came across was round 45, and I lost.

When the CD is too good we have to do everything to buy him

How does one amass 1500 tokens and over a billion $$ ? 

Choose iRacing as your primary sponsor and wtf1 as your secondary sponsor. That gives 3 token per race and lots of cash. Then find talent 20 drivers from your own young driver academy and train them up to your level. Their salary starts only at something like 350k, much cheaper than ones you find on the market. Also, don’t pay for doctor. That saves money too. Done right, you should be earning a profit while also getting 3 tokens a race.

Lucas has done 1861 races. That’s almost 5600 tokens.

Also, Lucas's account was created in 2012 so raced for a long time in the old game. In the old version it was much easier to make money and the bank balance would have been migrated to the new game in August 2016.

Can I really ditch my Doctor? 

I tried running my doctor s contract out but the game automatically gave me another doctor (50k euro wage)

@Chaz You have to pay 50k minimum for a doctor because the game gives you one if your doctor's contract runs out, but 50k is a lot better than, say, 800k.

My main drivers maxed their stats already, so I don't need a level 19 doctor.

@Jason Chen . but i need a high level doctor still right ? im lvl 14 and pushing like heck ! it would only slow my driver training if i got a cheap doctor right ?

@Chaz, your drivers are already a level above of you, so keeping your doctor isn't gonna do much for your training, since each training session only gives you 3% gain if I remember correctly. I believe the ROI (return on investment) of employing a proper doctor for you is too low to be worth it. (especially if you are struggling to make ends meet financially)
