Drivers should lose skills. The older a driver is, the faster he should lose his skills. So you have to train the driver again and again! I think that's a nice idea, and it does not need a lot of development!

That is precisely what used to happen in the old version of the game, it was called "Driver atrophy" and If you didn't keep training the skills would decrease. IIRC as they got older the atrophy became more pronounced and it was difficult to keep their skill levels up.
Atrophy was turned off when the new version of the game was launched in August 2016.

Okay, I was not here 2016 and before! Why was this feature turned off?

I don't know Christian. Maybe one of the iGP team will chip in and let us know.

I agree with Christian, it would also make the simulation more realistic as well. A 43 yr old driver should not have the exact same attributes as a 28 yr old driver!
Perhaps the starting atrophy age should be 31 yrs, with increased atrophy at 36 yrs.
And as another suggestion, I think the 'Experience' stat should be re-looked at, as a counter balance to driver atrophy. You never stop learning (in racing, or in any other field of study)
Older drivers should have higher experiences than younger drivers (more consistent laptimes) but slower 1 lap pace. Just as in real life :-)

Why would an older driver get worse?
Training should take longer as its pretty easy to taje a driver from rubbish to brilliant in about 3 days.
Perhaps teaining should take a whoke season, pick sections you want them to improva and over the course if the season the stats go up
