Hi guys,
I've a question concerning cooling and reliability. To what effect are they effected by assigned design points, or how much is the effect of assigning dp?

E.g. How much dp do I have to have in reliability in order that I consume less parts at the end of the race? And what is the effect of having a high cooling dp allocation? Is the car therefore faster than my competitors because my engine didn't degenerate so much? And goes the same for reliability too? Having a faster car because of having less car wear? And if any off it affects my speed by how much either way?

If somebody has some answers to that I would appreciate it.

Thanks, Johnny

There are extensive guides in the "Help and Support" forum addressing some of these questions you have. Sorry, I can't remember what thread specifically.

I would say that it's all in correlation to your HQ, drivers, staff, and competition in your league tier. Hopefully one the moderators are able to more precisely answer your questions.

These are however really good questions that we all have had at one point or another in this game.

They make no difference and you will find hardly anyone puts points on them, stick to the big 4 and then fuel and tyres.

I know that I should develop the big 4 and then FE&TE first. But at the end of the season you will have them maxed out and what is the best option then?

Thanks for your answers nevertheless.
