Hi all, good news today. We have ironed out the initial issues with the GB 19 circuit and have re-released it to iGP Manager. Races will begin on the new circuit this Sunday from 12:00 GMT.

Leaving it a couple of days should ensure that everyone has time to prepare for the new race in their calendar. Since most leagues race daily, most will not have started preparation yet and the transition should be seamless. The race has been inserted into the current season calendars, overwriting any instances of GB 09.

Rain is very inconsistent.  It's dry, it's raining, it's dry, it's raining.  This time it'll dry quickly, next time slowly, time after that it'll be in random intervals.

I live close to Silverstone and the weather here at the moment is rain one minute, sunny the next. Wind speed also plays a massive factor in how quickly the track will dry out, as it's very flat around the circuit being an old air force base.

I can assure you that this is going to be an interesting turn of events once the leagues head on down there.

And also a whole new strategy could be put in place for the 2019 version of Great Britain.

Competed last night with another account I found the circuit boring, drs too short and above all too many 60 laps with 100% races

Commendable effort to renovate but need to make this track more fun

Tomorrow we will be moving the DRS start line and pit entry start line.

Thanks for the feedback.

Oh and also, I have never raced on the newly configured Great Britain track yet in the league I'm in, but we will pretty soon.

Jack,

Is GB19 26 Laps or 30 Laps for a 50% Race.

Leagues that have it completed it over the last few days are showing 30 laps completed at 50%, our league is showing 26 laps (league ID = 22622) would be nice to know with no surprises during the race.

for me it was 30 laps.

whilst a new track is very exciting, and perhaps it works well on a test server (a guess?)... perhaps for a little while the new track(s) should be an exhibition at the start or end of a season.. without points... to kind of beta test?

obviously the first GB19 wasn't pretty, and despite what Gert says my league didnt think the second coming was too awesome.

Everyone seems to be asking about this, and it's GB09 races that were converted to GB19 ones mid-season, which have retained the lap count from GB09. No surprises, the lap count will be whatever it says it is on the page.

For all future seasons it will be 13/26/39/52 depending on duration.

I'd say with the pit lane updated it'd be around 17-19 seconds

That's what racing is also about. Adapting to changing (weather) conditions. :)
