Problem with message send in race chat

What did you try to do?
Send a message in race chat

What happened instead?
After one or two messages have been sent in between watching the race, the box to type in when sending a message during race chat disappears. Have to exit the race and then reload for to box to reappear.

Did the problem happen while using wi-fi, mobile data, or both?

Did the bug happen in the app, on PC, or both?

What is the model of your device?
Huawei p9 lite

What is the operating system?
Android

What is the version number of the operating system?
7.0

Can the bug be reproduced?
It has been the same for a few other players in my league and has happened in the previous 3 races

The problem is still happening to multiple people in our league, in pro and elite, seems to happen every race

We regret the inconvenience this is causing, we need more information to identify the incident, are you using all the latest version of the app? also happens on pc? Thank you very much.

Hello Jose,

Thanks for the reply.  I am using the latest version of the app and still having the issue in most races, today was the first race in many that it did not occur. I have asked other players in my league with the same problem to comment here. Hopefully we can help to sort it out

I am in the same league as Mike and also encounter this issue every race. I can usually fix it by pressing the bottom left button on my samsung Galaxy s9 (the one that shows all open windows) and then reselecting iGP - it's a quicker fix but still not ideal. I use the latest version of the app

Hello managers,

I've been talking to the developers about it and they tell me that this is already resolved in the beta versions and should be resolved in the next update. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. ⚙️?
