Watching other racing

I know you have stopped none players from commenting on other races if they watch but would it not be a idea to reinstate this but not to hide the name of managers not just come up with a number wishing to watch others . And if they commit offensive comments ban their accounts. 🤔anyone’s thoughts? 

Hmm an idea . I got other managers I like to watch and would like to give a encouraging word.  Devs ur reply pls. 

I strongly agree, long ago when igp didn't have a guest system abuse was far less commo; far less people were willing to bully someone when their account name was displayed. 

Taking away posting from guests has made it impossible to be involved while spectating, and it's sort of killed spectating along with it. So please bring it back or at least allow managers from the same league to post as guests, if not the just the host.

You would still have a problem with people making a false account and still being abusive and not worrying about account being banned. Why the h*ll don't they verify email address's.

idek, rn you can input 4 character email addresses (e.g a@b.c) whenever you want, use the same email twice etc, way too easy to troll. Maybe iGP should make it possible to ban certain IPs as well as accounts

Got to agree with you R360 I know for a fact some people have more than 10 accounts.

So what we are saying here is the root of the issue is how easy it is to fraud the system simply because iGP allows/encourages  it? 
As a result we pay the price by having counter polices and procedures imposed on the rest of us?

Even if I'm half right.... that's half too much. Hypocrisy protocols always will find a way to surface. 

Do miss watching some mates race and having a chat with them at the same time. Its also good to watch races as some of the leagues only had one or two players in them and you could talk to them and see if they want some more competition. Then there was watching a race on the track you about to race on and see what is happening with tyres etc etc. If no on chatted i just went to another race.

I always wondered about this. I thought how it was previously with spectator's manager names being shown and being allowed to chat on the viewer was pretty neat. Used to chat with a few fellow managers who raced in different leagues.

Maybe if the spectators are guests, or choose to be guest spectators without revealing their manager name, then you can not grant them privileges to chat on the viewer, perhaps. Also, I'm not a programmer so I don't know if this is feasible with the current viewer, but maybe if someone makes offensive remarks/spam/etc. on the viewer, whether it's a league member or spectator, there can be an option for the host (if they're present) to mute them? Then league members can choose to report the misbehavior.
