Podium loss

What did you try to do?
Car ran out of fuel on last corner of European GP

What happened instead?
Car entered pits from 3rd place and sat in the pits until everyone else drove past to then cross the finish line

Never had it before, but I guess so?

Additional comments:
Is there anyway to claim back my podium as it would put my driver at the top of the D/C?

That sucks, but you could've canceled the pit stop and let them coast to the line.  Might not have kept 3rd, but you probably wouldn't have lost as many positions.

I had, and the pit light had stopped flashing. Bit of an odd one!

I had also yesterday that I cancelled a pit stop and that it still entered pits. Lucky I lost not much extra time.
