If you have drivers all maxed out on -20. In all areas. Am I right that no need to therefore train em anymore? Or train em so don’t lose their - edge so to speak?

I think you should train them lots Zee especially just before our races LOL!!! But on a serious note i have thought the same question! We do have a manager that just left the league that was in that situation but i forgot to ask him! You may remember when he posted on the wall in the league who trains drivers!!

Hey guys once maxed out there is no need to train your drivers, what is important at this stage is the tyres fuel which effects these numbers so for example the Merk engine gives plus 10 on acc and -6 on fuel so if you were to choose this engine for your driver the difference will lower your design points have a play with this but you then match your driver to the track
Hope that helps ?

Hey buddy ok so you have your driver maxed out to 20 on the tyre within speed mental and health if you go to you car and see where you sit against the next best team it will also show what tyres engine and fuel you have chosen - if you then look at the attributes of those three you will see plus and minus for handling speed down force etc depending on the engine tyre and fuel you choose to use this is where you try and match those to the track you are racing on so if in your attributes on the big four you are at 100 have a look at where your other attributes are and use the engines tyres and fuel to up the numbers and help you for the said track you will be racing on
Have a look at the advanced guide within the forum it goes through all this with screen shots to help
Cheers and good luck ?

In the previous version of the game there was something called "Driver atrophy" which resulted in a slight reduction in attribute levels after each race. This meant that you needed to continue to train drivers to maintain them at peak performance. As drivers got older so the atrophy would increase to a point where it was difficult to keep up with the deterioration and performance suffered.
Years ago, just after the current version was launched in August 2016, Jack announced that driver atrophy does not feature in the new game. Personally, once my drivers are fully trained I discontinue training, it's one less thing to have to worry about. It doesn't seem to have any detrimental effect on my team's performance.
