In Bahrain at 37°c ppl winning with SS then soft tyre. Soft tyres doing just fine even when overheating. Softs are so much faster that I did one extra pit because of overheating tyre and still did way better than my other driver with meds and hard.
Atleast left newer players Know that softs are the best tyre at any temp, if tyre ballencing is too difficult.
