Not getting rookie Managers 2

Maybe you need to re read it and read what you said in your first reply as to why I gave you my reply which you then did not like and shut the thread down, Just in case you forgot where it is I have added the link below.

Your reply Jose to my opening thread as to why our league is never getting rookie managers was this little bit

we show users a list of leagues based on the filters they configure
I suspected that was the reason so my reply was to say but the filter is broken and that why I am not getting any rookie managers. no matter what search you put in the league it never shows up. so if the filters do not work then how do you get new managers.

Yeah your right I never mention about the filter. YOU DID Jose and I pointed out the filter is broken and this is why I am not getting any rookie managers. 

All I am asking is for some help and acknowledgment that there is a problem and it will be looked into. You do a great Job Jose and your team but to be fair I found your last reply rude and blunt. I am not stupid and just want this filter problem fixed. It has been a problem for months now as some leagues show up and others don't. I am willing to give examples if you wish to hear me out and not just shut me down. 
If the reason is not the filter that I am not getting new rookie managers as you stated then what is the problem? 

It would be helpful not to mix the terms rookie drivers and rookie managers. 

Yep Taz I hear you. I went for months not getting any rookie managers and it about killed off the league. Then all of a sudden I got a flood of rookie managers and have been getting them for a couple of months up till a week and a half a go.
Now it looks like I am not getting any now so if this continues I am back in the same spot as before. So this proves there a major problem.
But from my experience Taz there no point complaining about it as.
A. they will not listen.
B. If your special enough to get a reply they say there nothing wrong with the filters, or the way brand new rookies are              assigned to leagues

Good luck with your league Taz and I hope you get rookie managers in the next year.

Why is a major bug like the game filters not working being ignored???? I know don't hold my breath on a reply as we would not really want to get this fixed would we and show we care. 

Don't worry I will not write anymore on this subject as I have better things to do than keep banging my head up against a wall by the lack of care and not wanting to help from all places the HELP & SUPPORT forum. 

I saw my league was posted as example so i think i have the right to answer Taz...
I posted my league on the (italian) league list and less than 24 hours later we had the rookie section full again (from 8 to 16 players, 32 cars total) and we gained even 1 elite... So now that i know that less people in the league means less visibility in the possible league list i will kick only 1 manager at a time... This is the advice i have fro you taz, try to get higher in some ways (i saw a guide which said you should even create alts to get that number up) and then keep a minimun of 15 managers (if you're in a 2 cars league) or 30 (if you're in a 1 car league) in there to help you in the possible league list...

And a second advice... Please be respectful with mods and other user; this is a game so it should make you have fun, and no one can have fun if you aren't kind with him...

To the mods, if you had a part in the replenishment of my rookie section, thanks; else, thanks anyway. This is a beautiful game.

All I ever want was acknowledgment there was a problem and it would be looked into.

On the respectful part Jose it goes both way. You were not very respectful in the first thread by just closing it down and dismissing the problem. That was not respectful at all so yes I got peeved and was not overly respectful either. If it was handle better in the first thread none of this would of happen in this thread and it could of been started to be looked at on Friday which was a work day.

Like I said Gert the bit you didn't bother to Quote respect is a two way streak. I was never shown any on the first thread on Friday the one that was shut down.
So if you want respect show respect. Like I said if it was handled right way Friday none of this would never of happened. 
I just hope out of all this that this problem with the filters will finally get fixed. As it just does not hurt my league it hurts lots of leagues out there even those who are getting managers, as they are probably the wrong time zone they want to play in half the time. 

This is the case of lost in translation again. I know as i have been there and spent my time away form the game because of it. The time difference doesnt help either. 
I totally understand what Taz is saying and hope he gets its all sorted. Its a case of trying to to a job right and everyone wants it that way. Taz is trying to to his best with getting managers in but has run into a problem. Taz prob also feels that he is working hard to keep a league running and keeping people in the game. I know mate i sorted it not through here but with an email as i think on here things get taken the wrong way.

New or Rookie teams most are not staying around for very long. When they do and im lucky at the moment to be in a good situation where most of mine are active everything runs well as it should. I was hard in what it expected from the new managers with is they were not going to be active then im sorry we are not the league for you. Some of my members are not active in getting to races and they have messaged me as to there reasons why. I work with them in that way. But i have to become harsh and get rid of the real deadwood. 

I hope it all gets better for you mate and your league and that we all work together to keep the game running and successful as im sure thats what we all want.

I hope you get those rookie managers soon @Taz, it's a waiting game for now but you can take this into your own hands instead of letting iGP leave you with no answers...
What you could do is ask the members of your bigger league to make new, rookie accounts and fill up the rookie tier, even if they can't be active... Once iGP decides to feature your league you can start kicking the inactive rookies and replace them with the new ones. 

I did this with my Formula Zero East league and rookie was full until the host decided to kick half of rookie on the same day a little while ago ?

I don't really want to build a heap of new accounts to get rookie going. I hardly have time at the moment to run this account let alone more. Plus my view is that does not help the game at all. Believe it or not I want this game to work and be a success and building say 6 or seven more accounts really in my view is not the way to grow the game in the long run. 
Same with your suggestion R360, having managers from the other league or those in this league to build dummies accounts is not in the best interest of the game.Sure it may help the league out but really it should not have to come to that 
I am not new to hosting and have hosted leagues from nothing to make them very strong. 
But I have always been lucky I guess you could say with the filters and search engine. 

Even If my rookie league suddenly fills up today this is still a major issue that needs to be fixed It has been way to long that we have had a league search engine and filter that is very broken and does not work.

When i first started my league and now league's ad im running two i managed to get some smaller leagues or ones struggling a bit that were about the same time as us to merge also. Once again that still doesn't sort out your problem i know but was a great way of sorting through the ones who want to play and the ones who don't.
I also do ask the managers when they joined how they found us as a league. Once again doesn't fix the problem but helps me know the who what why where answers.

Have not heard anything back on this from two weeks ago. 
Would it be possible to get an update on this major problem we have in the game. 

I understand the idea of filling up leagues with clone accounts is to help said leagues be found by the wanna-be filter system we currently have. 

the post "Top League Average Ranking" is a solid and reputable source to search for leagues and/or research what's working or rather not working for them. It's pinned at the top. 

Of course, this doesn't help your issue with new comers Taz but like I said, it's a good source to find answers. 
That's how I found our league. 

R360 methods may not be entirely to your personal liking Taz, but it deals with the issues at hand on the now basis.  

Or.....you can keep knocking on deaf ears/tied hands.....because let's be honest here; if there was an answer.....well.....we'd heard/experienced it long ago, for this is not a recent developed issue. 

Thats the problem Memo, This is not a new issue and it not a small one but a major issue that gets ignored. But they seem to find time to do cosmetic changes.
Problem is you can make all the cosmetic changes you want but if you don't fix the major problems (which this is not the only one, advance strat comes to mind straight away as another major problem)Then you will lose more and more experience players as you get tired of it after a while. 

These cosmetic changes and new things being added is great but I much prefer to get nothing new added and no more cosmetic changes made but these major issues fixed first.

Mate you have knocked the nail on the head!! That last 2 lines is so 110% true!!


I go and watch some of the other races sometimes and you have all these leagues out there with no one even watching the race or there to be in it and surely this also takes up space as such and can create more problems. If a big clean out was done of the leagues again that don't have actives and active hosts then some of the leagues that are running and want managers could get some of the players. These leagues with one or two playing surely would be better with established leagues!
