A manager in my league recently said that there has been a rule change regarding weight, so that it no longer effects speed. Therfore a driver weighing 60kg would be the same speed as a driver weighing 51kg, providing all other stats where the same. Is this correct or has he misunderstood? I'd like to know before I scout a new driver, because I usually spend more tokens to get a female driver so I can make them weigh less, but if the rules have changed there is no point, and I can save tokens

Lower weigh = more speed. The manager must be lying, I've never heard someone from iGP say that 60kg is as fast as 51kg

Weight currently has no impact on the car or drivers performance. Perhaps it should have some small impact on certain parameters, after all in the real world, it would mean less movable ballast..perhaps a small impact on Handling, but the overall weight of the car will still be the same.
