Why was my thread locked by Moderator MS??? We are two leagues that run separate but align with each other. Sorry but why cant i advertise my league?? 
Its a joke and very overboard once again by a moderator not understanding. 
We work hard to keep league running and this is the forum to advertise them and the Mod then just shuts it!!!

Hello Brad,

First of all, ask you to calm down and have respect for the moderation team.

You are using one topic to promote several leagues, one of which already has up to two other active topics that will be reviewed after this report. The rules say that only one topic per league is allowed, which is why the topics that are used to promote more than one league will be closed, the user may be warned and even sanctioned if this behavior is repeated.

I have questions: by topic do you mean thread? And if so, surely you mean a league can only be promoted in one thread rather than one thread can not promote multiple leagues. There are many threads that promote multiple leagues but don't use multiple threads to do it which I have been told by other moderators is perfectly fine. If it isn't, I don't see why. It keeps the L&E a lot more organised.


Arguably using another thread to promote 1 other league in a family of leagues is also fine as long as that league isn't also promoted in the original thread. If this isn't okay, I guess it's understandable but it also makes it tougher to promote leagues if you are more of an independent host and also something difficult to properly police too as the host could just change the name of the league.

The problem here is both threads promoted both leagues. Each are replicas of each other, there's no obvious unique need for one thread over the other. IGP doesn't like it when people make multiple threads that could be condensed into one as it could quickly get out of hand and make a mess of the forum. So hopefully now you understand @Brad

How can you mark it as solved when it not solved??? There is so much more of a discussion about this yet and it needs to be sorted. 
The answer given by Jose did not explain anything to me as what we did was totally fine and within the rules of the game. 
So until you give me a reason or solution to the problem do not lock out threads and mark them as solved. This is happening to so many posts lately without the problem being solved.

And sorry for Graeme and I running two successful leagues as that's what seems to be the problem here!!
