A most excellent
question Andy!!!!!
Unfortunately
not a straight forward answer.
And you're
right, there isn't much out there bc it's what really defines your best chances for success. The point is that if all the tactics were out, then everyone would be using the same strategies thus creating a really monotonous situation.
From my personal experience;
- The best time and place to look for info/advice is during live races from consistent top finishers.
- Pay attention to what they say on the race chat and fill in the blanks to some of your own questions.
- Of course the forum is definitely a great source of current information.
- google iGP setups or guides. you can get some different kinds of spreadsheet styles to gather race data.
You want to study your opponent's strategies in detail or see where you went wrong on your strategy? Record the race.
This is a long and time consuming process, but once it's done you'll be glad you did.
I'm still gathering data. Not even at the halfway mark yet.
My apologies if deviated from topic. I hope this points you in the right direction.
