For whatever reason you can't chat pre-race until the race starts. Would be nice for those of us who like to join early to talk to our fellow managers instead of just sitting here.

Sorry if this has been brought up before, but I know we've mentioned it in-game many times that it'd be nice to have. Like now we have about 5 guys 8 or so minutes before the race starts and we can't communicate.

This is one fix that didn't quite make it into the most recent update.  It will be sorted soon.

You can chat on the league page.
I realise it isn't as 'good' as the live chat but it is an option in the meantime. Quite a few leagues do this already.
