I know in the Rules and Regulations, it says that 'Each driver gets one qualifying lap on a clear circuit' with that in mind, I'm guessing each car goes around seperately (at cut off point for practise, my drivers were set up for a dry race, although advanced was done for a wet circuit, as was predicted in the weather. When the qualifying results came up, I was a little shocked at the results (http://igpmanager.com/play/?url=race-result/139336#qual) and being 4 seconds off the pace. So I'm thinking maybe some cars started on a dry circuit and it rained part way through? Once the race had started, I was on wets, as were the people who qualifyed at the front, so not sure where the gap came in so big?

I don't know, but you need a new league. :P That isn't competitive at all. Seeing how the race ended it's more sad seeing you qualified so bad. lol

It is normally more competitive, my fellow level 7's normally give a good run for my money, but they were on inters, so made it an easier race.

You were on full wets to their inters yes?

My guess is as it only just started to rain, the track was just damp, not wet, and thus your wets were not suited, compared to their inters. That would account for the 4s difference I think

The people on the first few rows were on full wets too

I made a thread about this a while ago. It makes sense but it isn't right. I had a race at Belgium last season where my driver, for some reason, was 4.5 seconds off the pace in Qualifying.

It did start to rain after lockout yes, and when I saw the results I thought the same thing as you, "they must be on inters", but when the race started I was wrong, everyone was on FULL wets. So I was a little stumped.

Sadly the devs didn't respond to my thread so I was left unanswered as to what went wrong.

Also pays to note my driver was by far the best in my league at the time. He was also the only driver with a maximum speed graph and 19 wet where as almost everyone else had drivers with like 4/5/6 wet etc.

In the end I was 90% convinced that drivers aren't all on the track at the same time for qualifying, and that maybe some qualified in the wet and some in the dry? I really don't know.

Lol, don't mind my brother.

Now that I think about this, I ran into this issue a few races back in our current season. Would like to know, though truth be told it's probably a simulator problem.
