Does anyone have any tips to improve my qualifying? Is it better to go shorter on my first stint in a race to qualify higher?

Qualifying is done by random so its doesnt matter what you set up your car for other than tyres. Everyone QF's on the same fuel.

As far as you can call it random when the game have his favourite mamagers:)

qualifying is based on car and driver stats + a random factor, if a driver has a good or bad lap. it just looks random when all cars and the driving stats of drivers are maxed out.
it is Made on the tire of the 1. stint.
push level, tire temp and fuel level is set by the game to perfect condition, so the only opportunity to manage it a bit is tire choice of the first stint.

Qualifying isnt random at all

Marc
Qualifying isnt random at all
At the end of the season most cars are all 100 in big 4 so all cars are within 0-2 tenths of each other in qualfiying depending on tyres you're either first or last

8 out of 10 times being last on the same tyres..
First few races i can understand because of car stats and everyrhing but later in the season 8 out of 10 times season after season isnt random, but i wont care anymore.

a strake 8 out of 10 is likely, i experienced it twice, too.
on average you should qualify on 16+17 when everyone, is always using the same maxed car with maxed drivers.
you have to see it on bigger numbers 80 out of 100 would/or could be a proof that there is something wrong based all parameters are equal

Dan, ur drivers are pretty bad. Train them!
With weak drivers and maybe worse design, u r always going to qualify behind ur competitors.
@All: u r talking to a L5 manager here. Don't tell him the world is cruel just yet. Let him find out himself! ;-)
