Quick race private issue

What happened is that i got an invite to a private race which is hard for me to join into when i'm ASLEEP. So had the link still in fb message so i clicked it and it said race didn't exist (or something like that) whereby it dropped me back to main and i noticed that my car had got wear and my driver's health had dropped. Checked finances and sure enough 180K prize money was showing. So it ran me in a race i never actually entered nor competed in. 

Also quick races are showing up in race history. 

oh wow.!... Now it's really getting good!  Talk about negative billing...lol!   sorry Chris, don't mean to down play your circumstance which could be happening to any of us without us realizing it.

That is wrong...totally utterly wrong...I will message my ingame friends immediately and ask them never to invite me to a private quick race.

Is there any chance of an 'opt out' feature to prevent this unasked for removal of resources?
I can see this as a huge potential issue.

We have noticed that a small number of people are experiencing an issue, where they join another quick race after they leave a quick race lobby and previously doing a race.

I am investigating these reports today and hope to come up with a solution.

I do want to state that if you receive an invite you will in no way join that lobby until you click on the link and go to that URL.

If you are concerned that you are going to be running extra races erroneously then for now, maybe avoid doing quick races until I have been able to resolve the issue.

Thanks for the speedy response...I don't intend to use quick races much...if at all...so I do hope that the fears I expressed are simply teething troubles.

Sorry should have put that i thought it was a forum link, and clicked on it, and it took me to the quick race private lobby. Should have looked before i leaped. 

Thanks for reply, and i do realize it's still in BETA stage. The first 4-5 races (public) i did were perfectly fine, no issues at all. 

my home page keeps showing the QR "go to race" cue even though I haven't entered into any QR.  Note that this began to happen when I accidentally pressed the go-back button on my browser. 

 How do you abort a QR?

Refresh the page. That worked for me.
