Cosequence of Quick race?

Since winning 4 quick races I have found that the expectation for me in my 4 league races following each has been to finish 1st.
  There is little or no chance of me winning league races anytime soon with the result that I have received no cash from these races. So my question is , Does winning quick races have any bearing on league race expectations? Anyone?  Thank you.

That explains why I was expected to finish 4h in my last race.
One other thing, how much is gained from the quick races on terms of driver experience. To most people that's one of the main reasons to have a quick race, track time ⌚ for your driver.
