I know it's such a random suggestion, but it popped up in my head that what if we can have a net gain or net loss of positions per lap.

Like for example on lap 1, you qualified P11, and on lap 2, you're in P14, so you LOST 3 positions in that lap. And it goes on until the race ends.

Another instance, if you were in, for example, P9 and in the next lap, you're in P6, so you GAIN 3 positions in that lap.

And if you haven't gained nor lost position in a lap, it's a NEUTRAL net.

Definitely a solid idea Spencer.  

Many other season stats can derived from this as well. 



  • Most improved manager.

  • Road Warrior(most lap led through the season)

  • Iron Man(most live races attended)

  • Mr. Consistant(most consecutive podiums)




I can go on for awhile here, but I don't want to off topic.

Definitely a cool idea imo. And what Hamlet said, gives us more to talk about and some bragging rights
