I"ve been playing the game about a month now and still haven"t been able to work out how a couple features work, and I just now discovered the "forum" feature in the menu, so figured I"d give it a shot.
When it comes to sponsors, and earning $ and coins, how does it actually work? I"m a bit confused by the "Income" And "bonus" portions. From the descriptions in the little "i" bubbles, it seems like one is what you get every race regardless (this one is "income" I"m assuming?), and the other is what you get for actually actively participating in the race, like having the app open and spectating/controlling you team during the race (the "bonus")?
If so, what"s is the best earning strategy for someone who can"t always make the live race? The league I initially joined is apparently U.K.-based, and since I"m in the USA, I"m 5hrs behind the league"s timezone, and so live races for me are 3am my time. I wasn"t aware of the time zone thing initially, so I was thinking I was picking 8am race times which I could hop on before work or class, but 3am doesn"t really work, so I often miss live races, and thus any "bonus" money/coins it seems.
Is my best option leaving my league (which I enjoy) to join one where the race times allow me to be present? It seems like I"m losing out on so much $ and coins by not being able to "attend" the live races (if this is how it actually works, as I keep forgetting to look at my $ and coin totals before and after a race to see what I earned)
