Can someone just quickly explain the setup values? Like if it"s a circuit with lots of straights and high speed, versus something slower and more technical, how do the suspension/ride height/wing level values come into play?

Like what does lowering or raising each value effect? Do you want higher or lower values for faster, straighter tracks, and which for slower, more technical tracks?

Basically I"m just wondering what higher values are better for, and lower values, so there isn"t so much guesswork on the initial test run setups, seemingly wasting the first few practice runs (or all 5 of one drivers" runs) trying to dial in the right setup.

So what conditions are favored by the three suspension types (like when do I know to try harder/softer suspension, initially, without waiting to be told by the driver after a run)? And same for the ride height and wing level, do lower values favor faster circuits or slower/technical circuits?

On such routes as Singapore or Monaco, a high downforce is needed, which means the wing angle is higher.  I do not know with ground clearance.  The stiffness of the suspension depends on the unevenness of the coating

Oh man, I think you`re over thinking things through.  The old browser version used to be by far more technical that what we have now. By the sounds of it, you`d like it.

You can download the tire calculator from google play to help you with your setups. And you can also keep notes of it for future reference.

I have recorded all base setups for every track. You can also find similar data in some of the guides in the `help & support`section.

If you haven`t yet, check this guide out; guide
