How come cars on soft tires are slower than those on medium tires during race? They loose up to 0,8 sec per lap in qualifying to soft tires and go faster in the race. Wth??

Push Levels? Fuel load?
Do u have a link to the race? Was this a one time think?

Not sure how to find a link in the app. Pit stop strategy was equal, fuel load on my cars was just as needed. I assume that going on harder tire type one can push harder but this is a kind of weird, no? Soft tires can not warm up more than harder compounds if you push the same. But this is what happening in this game. Even so one can not go slower on soft tires than on medium or hard tires.

Regardless of track temp, one can easily achieve faster speed on mediums than softs by carrying less fuel and maintaining tire's temp neutral and a disciplined PL management. The compound is but one factor out of many.

The thing is that Tire temp on my both cars was neutral and fuel was on the minimum level, btw other cars had the same pit stop strategy as I had. I know these so my managing was quite good and still they were faster!
