CEO & CTOTonight we performed some maintenance at the time indicated. This maintenance did not require any downtime and so it will likely have gone unnoticed for the vast majority. The maintenance is an attempt to fix ongoing issues with Race Results, Points, Research, Design Points and more. In the last few evenings, some races have received double their usual amounts of these things, or there have been duplicate entries of teams in race results and standings.
While we work to investigate the issue, as a precaution we have upgraded some services (at the time indicated in the title) which directly relate to the areas in question. At face value, the issue seems capacity related as we've experienced a recent surge in growth, so upgrading the capacity could be the simple solution to the matter, potentially.
During the upgrade process, though it did not require downtime, it's possible that there may have been further occurrences of issues such as those mentioned at the start of the post, but we don't expect many cases.
