I would like to see the rookie pro and elite races staggered rather than ran at the same time. That way we could spectate on different divisions within our own league. I’d like to be able to do my race in rookie and then watch he pro and elite races after essentially. Vote if you agree or disagree and feel free to comment if you think it’s a good/bad idea

That would mean race time is different for the 3 tiers. So if you promote or relegate, your race time would change. That wouldn’t work for me and i think it would only increase the chance of managers missing live races or going inactive. Thats why i vote no

A good point. My vision is they’d be back to back so you’d still be looking at a short window between races but in my opinion it would engage more interest within the league with what’s happening between tiers getting everyone to be involved. I would think the outcome may be different than you’ve said however I appreciate I am very new to the game and you may well know better 😁

Unfortunately in theory it sounds nice, but in reality it would be hugely inconvenient, unfortunately. 100% real time races go for around 80-90 minutes and Monaco in Rookie has a chance to make it over 2 hours, especially in rain, and so that race window would have to be at least 6 hours. Even with 2x speedup (or 50% real time) we're still looking at a race window of 3 hours, still too much for a lot of players and would force them to switch leagues every time they promote or relegate.

Back to back wouldn't work well either, I wouldn't like not to know when my race is going to start, having to skip Monaco or other long races because the long duration delays the start of Elite for one hour so half the race would drop out of my time window I can afford to play or, worst case, entering the game finding out my race just finished because some Pro left making the game skipping that race due to lack of competitors.

And one other thing: i wouldn’t turn up 2 hours prior to my race just to watch another race.

In theory is sounds good, but in practice it wouldn't suit most players, but suggestions like this are always good to open up discussions on the forum.

The time issues is the main concern here, some people have more time available to them than others. Routine is the main thing, and people chose a time that suits them, hence the live timing of races. As i have experienced in my time on IGP Manager, its nice to rise through the tiers within your league and make friends with league team mates as you. If times were staggered, it would mean a lot more movement between leagues just to stay at the time that suits you.

There are some leagues that, have you-tube channels set up, and record and post their races which can be viewed later, in your own time, so using screen recording software can overcome this issue.

Speak with your league and see if there is someone that can/has the capabilities to do something like this. I might be worth while.

Thanks for the responses. What you guys have explained makes sense. I guess for my own personal schedule it would work for me due to my leagues race length and time it runs. I do appreciate for normal people with lives it could be a total pain and make the game too much of a chore.

I’ll bin the suggestion as I think it’s clear it’s not one that is going to bring anything to the game. I appreciate the replies

You can always watch other leagues, and on pc you can find results of other tiers in your league. You van ask them what strategies they use.

Yeah I do this anyways to learn strategies for the elite races. Just thinking it might be a way to engage people in the same league across the different tiers with each other but I appreciate my way of going about it isn’t one for most people
