Depends what version of Window 8 you are running - If it's Windows 8 RT then sadly no.  Not sure what they cannot make an HTML 5 version as well?

Press the Windows Key + x to bring up a menual - click on System and it will tell you what version you are running - I am pretty sure you are not running Windows RT.  As this will be the case the 2D will work as I am running it fine on my machine.  Hope this help.

I just discovered that my Kaspersky Security suite was causing the live timing and 2D not to work. Once Kaspersky was uninstalled everything worked. Using Wondows 8  .I'm going to install McAfee as that works fine on my sons computer.

That worked!  Uninstalled Kaspersky and installed McAfee. 2D is working. WooHoo!

However. It only works in the Chrome Browser. Internet Explorer still no go. EDIT: I got IE to work by turning off Protected mode under the security tab of internet options.

I have been running iGP 2D in W8 64bit Firefox/IE for a few months now, it is browser based so it works just as it would on any other platform. That is as long as Java is supported.

The best thing you can do is unistall all AV on you PC's and use the built in Windows Defender (used to be Security Essentials in Windows 7).  A great product that works really well, plus it uses very little resource.

2D viewer works fine on all platforms of Win8.

Check the bit of your operating system and install the appropiate java.

In what way is that constructive feedback? You are essentially calling the rest of the people on this thread either liars or fools.
Believe me I tried installing the latest 64 bit version of java and that DID NOT WORK. Nor did the latest 32 bit version. Nor did Java 6.

Ive been talking with Aaron at the help desk and he has sent information from Java that I provided him with to the developers and we are awaiting a response. Im not going to try uninstalling and installing anything just yet, but thanks for the help everyone.
