Let us copy text

On the league page and in our in-game inboxes it's impossible to copy text so it's impossible to get people to use links to go to other web pages, such as our league threads, discords, social media, youtube videos or even quick races. I mean, if you were confronted with a link like this:

...would you be bothered to type it out character by character? no. I'm not asking for proper highlighted links, just a basic copy/paste feature which should already have been there so I'd love to see any arguments as to why it isn't.

It`s a pain to invite ppl to QR. 

Idk why it got disabled. But it might have something to do with the new chat/reply format. 

It's fine for me on mobile

It's only half fine because you can't even use links inside the mobile app as there is no search bar. Plus this shows that the fact that text is not copy paste-able on PC is not intended and is probably a bug.

We used to be able to, but it got disable when the Reply thing was added to the chat wall.

i can't copy text on pc chrome browser not for a long time it doesn't let you highlight it, on my phone on chrome/firefox/iOS App i can copy and paste using all of those, although the iOS app doesn't like it very much as it tends to freeze for about 5 seconds when you try to highlight it first time.

But PC/Laptop don't work at all.

Java?! On a client?! U got to be kidding me! Java is dead and it should be! This very own game used Java way too long. Now that it is gone, don't tell people to activate it!!!

Oh, and never mix up Java and JavaScript. They have nothing in common and are not related!

I was copying and pasting accordingly prior to the addition of "Reply" on the chat wall. 


And no, I haven't used any antivirus in decades as all they are is a dressed up firewall. So that's not it either.
Cookies? of course! Websites live on them.. That's not the issue either. 

I am a new player but have the same problem with Chrome on PC. I am not using Antivirus or firewall software and everything is allowed in my browser settings. I have not yet tried any other browsers. Is anyone getting it to work with Chrome?

For me it works on my Android but not on PC (Linux / Firefox)

This is a pretty peculiar issue. I have no problems on Windows 10 using Chrome or Firefox, nor on my iPhone 7 in the app or on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S4.


I experienced the same issue, however, I don't feel it wasn't that the app froze, but my entire phone did, I think.

This is intriguing, seeing some folks don't have a problem and others do.

Leo, which browsers/devices/OS systems are you using where this problem arises?

EDIT: OK It is 10:30AM and I didn't sleep. I assumed that it would be the same on all pages but for some reason, my error in my inbox and league page where I couldn't select and copy have disappeared. And there is no reason for me to select and copy text from the [HOME] page. I have uninstalled and disabled some extensions in chrome recently, perhaps that is why it now works. /EDIT


Ok I played around a bit with the source code and found that If I remove the following the page works works perfect

After removing that code I can now perfectly select and copy everything on the Home Tab.

I am running Windows 7 32bit with chrome.

I use a Lenovo PC and Windows 10. I've tried Chrome, firefox and Edge and I get the same issue on all 3
