Hi, I was just wondering if you get bonuses for winning the drivers or the team championship in your league.

If not it\'ll be super cool to have something like that, I don\'t know how much for winning it, but with 10-15Million i think it is enough and 7-12Million for the second and so on...

This was discussed during development but I think it was decided not to pursue it as it gives the winners an \'unfair\' financial advantage.

Jack will no doubt correct me if I am wrong.

The reason prizes are given in races but not over seasons is because a season can vary a lot. Winning a race can be determined as a good or bad achievement by comparing the opposition just before it starts, and this is how objectives are calculated. This ensures you always earn your prize money.

On the other hand over a season if you win, the attendance levels and competitiveness of the teams can vary wildly from start to finish. This makes it hard to determine if someone is actually worthy of a big prize at the end of it. It could result in people \"winning\" totally uncompetitive leagues and getting the same payout as people just beating extremely good competition. In the spirit of fairness which we work so hard to maintain, it\'s best to avoid situations like that.

yes ... but. in the end it\'s the same if youre winning money for every race, or just the big package in the end.

Not exactly, because if the attendance drops for one race you get a smaller objectives prize. The objectives will also adjust to the strength of the field and become harder to achieve if the competition is less competitive.

Maybe better to implement some kind of \"Sponsor\'s Bonus Investment\" clause if you win a title with their name on your car? Of course, staff will also want a bonus for winning, so there\'ll be some counter-weight involved...

I\'m a noob so this is a noob question: Will the team Budget reset after a season?
I have 4.2m left for the season when the champions are crowned and the season starts again, do i have to struggle with that 4m or start anew with 40m?

Hopefully it doesn\'t reset and let who didn\'t plan their finances properly away with it.

Facility upgrades alone! Take most of your money.
But i understand the multi season aspect, Allot of people who are just starting up has made allot of mistakes like myself.
First joining a league without thinking and having to switch, Second: moving staff back and forth before noticing the financial impact.
Firing and hiring drivers throwing away millions in signing bonuses.
Once new people get into that hole they wont be able to get out of it Ever! As their competition will always have upgrades before they ccan even affoard them.

To add insult to injury, If their league doesn\'t race often then they will be suffering for weeks before they can start doing anything again.
By this point what do they have left to enjoy in iGP?

The end of season bonus can and should be given to everyone.
A fixed amount for participation. Not too much or too little but enough to give any budget a well needed injection.

This will help everyone overall more so to teams in debt to get their stuff sorted so no advantage from this.

I\'ll very likely be adding the option to reset a team at any time anyway, to go back to Rookie and start fresh. This way it wouldn\'t really matter, anyone would have the opportunity for a fresh start.

But I don\'t believe in throwing more and more money at teams because they have been mismanaged and need to stay afloat. That would spoil the gameplay and economic balance.

Sounds like the way forward. Especially the part in bold.
