I’m playing since few weeks now, and today I wanted to bid for a pilot, I lost after few tokens spent. But I’ve been a bit surprised to don’t see the token refunded.
It seems a bit unfair that if we lose a bid for a driver, that the tokens are not refunded as at the end you spent them for nothing as you lost.
In some other manager games, you would get them back.
As I understand it (I think I read it somewhere in the forums), the tokens are the fee to be able to bid. Now I never lost a bid so I don't know if you get the money back? But if you do, it seems fine to me.
I remember reading somewhere that the tokens are not refunded and I’ve experienced this. The game gives you 3 free tokens a race (potentially) so you never need to spend money on the game and can enjoy it for free.
The developers however also need to run a system where they can maintain income which people can opt in to essentially donate in exchange to be able to achieve things in the game quicker than someone who chooses to play for free. It’s the common micro transaction system adopted by most game devs these days and looking at what you get for you buck this one isn’t too bad compared to the overpricing which is rife in this market
Well it would be logic to get them back. But I understand their point, David, with a strategy with interesting prices for the tokens, few tokens each day + few tokens for log in everyday.
But still, when you try hard to get a 20 talented pilot and you spend a certain amount of tokens, and you don’t see them coming back it’s even more frustrating.
