I've switched to Windows 8 lately, and since the switch my races been a disaster. It seems no matter what I do, I cannot change my strategy I set before the race. I'm using chrome, with the latest version of java.

Yet again, I called my slave to pit in for inters, and they put on SOFTS damnit, softs. Solve it please, otherwise I'll have 1,5 hours more free time every day.

Sorry about this Bela.  I will have a look at what happened during your race and get back to you - hopefully with a solution.

I have had a look at your two most recent races.  I can't see what may have gone wrong with the first (the Belgian race on the 6th).  Could you tell me what you were trying to do specifically?

I can see what was going wrong in your most recent race though (Italy, on the 7th).  There is a design flaw in the free player race interface.  It is related to the fact that free users can't disable the automatic "weather strategy".  For this race, you had set your pre-race pit strategy to start on full wets.  However it was not raining at the start of the race and so your weather strategy automatically kicked in and your "rain-stop" compound was used instead, which was softs.

The main design problem here is that any modification you make to the tyre choice should override the automatic weather strategy, but in this particular case it doesn't do so.

We are close to releasing an update to the free viewer which will completely resolve this issue.

I know how the automatic weather strategy works. It was raining during qual, we set our times on wets. Then before the race it dried up, so we started on softs. BUT, and here comes the but. I saw we are slow on dry tires (like 4 secs off the qual time) and I thought I come in for inters to see if it's any faster. I'm not fighting for any place in teh championship, I just wanted to experience stuff. I set the tyres to inters, changed the tires to INTERS and set the fuel to 40 liters.
I entered the pits, and they fitted SOFTS, and now I checked the race details, and the fuel remained at 44 liters, the amount I set pre-race, not the amount I changed to when I also changed to inters.

Europe was pretty similar. I miscalculated the fuel, so at the first stop I set 56 liters instead of the 55, then 52 for the rest of the stints. I came up 1 lap short, I ran out of fuel. I checked the race stats, and they put in 55 liters on all my stops despite having it set to 52.

I hope you understand my problem now. No matter what I change in the live control, it doesnt happen.

Yet again, I was on my way to my first win in elite, but this piece of crap live control doesnt do shit, now I'm getting really pissed off. I changed fuel, tyres, everything, AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED AFTER THE PIT. Please, freakin do something with it, otherwise I'm gone.

Bela for now use the unschedualed pitstop tool and only set your first stint fuel.

I've only set 1 stint of fuel for the previous race, and try to change the later ones during race, but didn't change anything.
