When I started playing it seemed like I automatically moved up a tier after each season, and once I hit Elite it’s only been me and one other person for a few seasons in a row now, even though the lower tiers are full (not sure if they’re maxed out, but they’ve both gotta have over a dozen teams). So how come nobody else has advanced? I assumed it was automatic since it seemed to be for me, but either way, it’s odd that nobody has either been sent up, or chosen to come up?
At first it was OK, because I was still learning how the game worked and using the 2 team Elite tier as basically a “tutorial mode” for a few seasons, but now it’s at the point where it’s greatly hindering my progress (leveling up isn’t really happening when you only earn 50xp a race in a 2 team league...) and I want actual competition. But I also don’t want to just leave the league, especially since I somehow just became league manager. I even checked the league settings and the relegation option is on, so I’m unsure as to why we’ve had no additional teams move into the Elite tier in the 3-4 seasons since I was promoted to it, and if there’s something I can do about it as the manager now?
