I’ve been in Elite tier for a few seasons but with only one other driver, and I’m now bored. I’m only level 12 so i was thinking of dropping back down to Pro tier, since there are more drivers in it. I don’t want to fully leave the league since I now somehow became the manager of it, but I do want competition again (be guaranteed a podium finish for at least 1 of your drivers gets kinda old lol).
I’m about to do my last race of the season so figured I’d drop down after this one, on the “day off” before the next season starts.
Am I able to do this, and if so, how?

I'll escalate this but can't guarantee iGP Support will agree to do it.
If you're league host you will also need to disable promotion / relegation because even if support are prepared to drop you to Pro, the last thing you need is to then be promoted back to Elite at the end of the following season.

There's only 4 people in Pro, so I guess the disable won't be necessary for now

Thank you! I didn’t know it’d have to be a support issue, I was hoping it’d just be like a “switch leagues” option since I’m still a couple levels below the “level cap” for the tier I’m trying to drop back down to. No worries if not.
Are there any pointers to trying more people to join the league so that I don’t have to leave my own league but also don’t have to be stuck racing 1 other team every season, and thus VERY SLOWLY ranking up?

Hi Jason.
The best way to do it is as you thought, move league, get relegated and then move back. However, on occasion if there are special circumstances support will intervene. That's why I said I can't guarantee anything because I don't know if support will consider this a special case.
Regarding attracting more managers, try putting a link to your league on a new thread on the Leagues section of the forum.

Hi Jason, I've moved you to the Pro tier. If you are friendly with Brian, the other player in your league's Elite tier, then I highly recommend to appeal to him to post here in this thread (or create a new one if this locks at some point) if he'd like to move down to the Pro tier if he is enjoying your league.
As it is currently, a tier with only one tier present will not have a race (you can't race against yourself!)
