I still hesitate what to do to focus my design for next season..

Do I put it all green or all white?? All to the right or all to the left??

Thanks a lot

Cause I spent the entire season with button all to the right, so for next season (i guess) and I still have parts with 3% .. so I must have missed something

Paulo, The position of the button is what counts. Move it all the way to the right to focus your designers on next season

Ok. But, why there is still some parts in 3% after 15 races?? Its strange cause I have Chassis with 17% and the rest barely reached 5%..

Thanks for the answer, by the way

I suspect it has to do with the way you have your designers allocated.  You can only upgrade a particular part once every 2 days. Ideally you should have your parts split into two groups, group A parts were upgraded today, so move the designers to the group B parts so they are upgraded tomorrow and then move the designers back to the group A parts. As the parts are upgraded, it requires more designers for the next upgrade to be researched. If you needed 5 designers for today's upgrade, next time you will need 6 and so on. What probably happened is that at some point you moved your slider from concentrating on this season to concentrating on next season and those components received more time with the focus on next season so they progressed faster. I also suspect that on the other components you might not have had enough designers for those parts to upgrade as often as they should.

Also how many designers do you have actually working on design and how good is your chief designer?

How do I optimise design between seasons? Is there any strategy that gives You more %?

E.G. I know that You can loose % if You have researched 100% parts. If I have two "Q" level parts: A part - 100% this season, 32 next. B part - 99% this, 32% next. When I research both to "R" part I will get: A - 0% this, 2% next. B - 1% this, 2% next (max emphasis on next season). So I loose 1% with A part (2% gain vs 3%)
